Using Reports

Question:
What reports are available and how do I use them?

Answer:
Project Studio provides a variety of reports for all needs. All reports can be previewed on screen or printed.

Reports Selection

There are different methods to define the tasks that will be included on a report:

- Selecting a node on the project structure will run the for the tasks/projects contained in the node
- Making any selection on a task list and running the report for selected items
- Performing a Search and using the search results to generate a report

Available Reports

Here is a list of the currently available reports:

- Tasks List – shows a list of tasks in simple one line format
- Tasks with Details – lists tasks with details section
- Tasks with Comments – tasks list with details and comments
- Planning Tasks List – simple one line tasks list for planning purposes; includes estimated/actual time, priority, status, assignment, and due date.
- Planning Tasks with Details – tasks list for planning with details
- Planning Tasks with Comments – tasks list for planning with details and comments
- Project Timing – number of tasks, estimated and actual time by project
- Project Timing with Details – project timing with task details
- Project Timing with Targets – project timing grouped by milestones
- Project Timing with Details and Targets - project timing with task details grouped by milestones
- Billing Tasks List – simple billing list of tasks with targets and estimated/actual timing
- User Workload – team and user workload with number of tasks assigned and estimated/actual timing totals
