Using Drag and Drop to Rearrange Tasks, Folders, Projects, and Project Groups

How do I use drag and drop to move tasks, folders, projects, and project groups?

Answer:
Project Studio allows using the mouse to drag and drop different items. A general rule is to select the icon of the source object and to drop it over the icon of the destination object. While holding the mouse button down and moving it around the cursor will change to a disabled icon if the drop is not allowed and to an object icon when the drop is permitted.

Here are some object specific rules:

- Tasks – click on the task icon (the one indicating the type of the task) and drag and drop it over a folder or project icon
- Folder – click on the folder icon and drag and drop it over another folder or a project icon
- Project – click on the project icon and drag and drop it over a project group icon
- Project Group – click on the project group icon and drag and drop it over another project group icon
