Question:
How do I set up and use notifications?

Answer:
- Notification Rules

Each rule represents the conditions that tasks have to meet in order for notifications to be sent to that assigned notification boxes. Notification rules can be configured in several places: My Dashboard, Project, Folder, and Task. Notifications have some restrictions based on where they are configured.

1. Select Project and go to the Notification tab
2. Select criteria to be met for the notification:
Project and subfolders of the selected project that current user has access to
Priority (High, Medium, Normal, etc.)
Task State (Active, Archive)
Type (New Functionality, Change Request, Issue, etc.)
Status (New, In Progress, Ready for QA, etc.)
Assigned To - current user and teams that the user is member of and have access to the selected project
Reported By - users and teams with access to the selected project
Due Target
Due Date (From/To)
Complete Date (From/To)
Created Date (From/To)
Attachments (With, Without attachments or All)
3. Add/Remove notification boxes:
∙ Select Notification Box
∙ Select the Notification format:
- Tasks List
- Tasks List (Text)
- Tasks with Details
- Tasks with Comments
- Tasks List (with lines)
- Tasks with Details (with lines)
- Tasks with Comments (with lines)
∙ Click +Add
∙ To remove notification box from a rule click the delete icon located on the right side of the notification boxes list and confirm deletion
4. Enter notification rule name in the Save rule as field
5. Click Save
6. To add new notification rule select < New Rule > from the list labeled Load
7. To edit notification rule select the existing rule from the list labeled Load, change its details and click Save.
Note: if the name of the notification rule is changed it will create a copy of the notification rule with the new name.
8. To delete notification rule select the existing rule from the list labeled Load, click Delete and confirm deletion.
